The Mouth of the Cave
My Collection explores the concept of digital surrealism through the lens of denim. We live in an era of artificial intelligence, augmented reality and online misinformation. As these technologies and others like them become ever more prevalent, it becomes impossible for us to know what's real and what's not, and that's what I wanted to capture with my garments.
Collages
Collaging formed the basis of my design process. To fit the themes of the collection and expand my process, I generated images with Playground AI. Using prompts such as Denim, Surrealism, Volume, Drape and others, I created expressive results that I then cut, edited, and rearranged to create these collages.
